Join us for an indulgent evening of plant-based pleasure with carefully crafted pairings of the finest, local artisan-made vegan cheeses with sustainable, low intervention vegan wines.
We will take you on a gastronomic journey through a tasting of six different vegan cheeses made by I Am Nut Ok, paired with six different wines from The Modest Merchant, accompanied by a seasonal smorgasbord of our own homemade chutneys, jams and pickles with breads and crackers.
All cheeses, wines and accompaniments will be available to buy and take home at the end of the evening - perfect for last-minute Christmas gifts!

The Modest Merchant is a young and exciting wine merchant (est. 2018) based in Hackney, specialising in low intervention, sustainable, modern wines from small producers across Spain, France, Italy and most recently, England. A particular love has developed for discovering rare and ancient grape varieties from lesser-known regions, and giving them their chance to shine.
I AM NUT OK make dairy alternatives that are more daring than dairy. Blending traditional cheesemaking techniques and innovative plant based technology, they use dairyfree cheese cultures to create an authentic taste. Handcrafted in Hackney, the plant-based cheeses are infused with high quality herbs and spices, then aged in cheese caves to develop complex flavours. Established in 2017, Angela created I AM NUT OK to prove to her partner Nivi that dairy-free cheese could taste good!
EDIT is a low impact and sustainable, fully plant based restaurant based in Hackney with a veg-forward focus on celebrating hyper seasonal produce and championing local and organic or generative method farmers. We are zero-to-landfill with innovative and creative zero waste methodologies which embrace a ‘root-to-fruit’ approach towards elevated, fine dining experiences.
We will all be on hand to present each pairing and offer our individual expertise and knowledge.
